It is not a traditional five-pocket jean. It is a relaxed straight denim pant rooted in climbing culture, with room around the hips and thighs so the body can move naturally.
Cut and sewn in Japan in small batches, it brings the functionality of active wear into an everyday streetwear silhouette.
Why we made it
Many denim pants look good, but they can feel restrictive when you move.
Boy Denim Light was developed to keep the clean look of denim while making everyday movement easier — walking, cycling, squatting, sitting on the floor, lifting your legs, or moving through the city.
It comes from heavy.’s background in climbing, but it is designed for life outside the gym and the crag.
